The Team

Harriet Opoku-Sika Apponsah

CEO/Founder

Harriet Opoku-Sika Apponsah is the Founder of BCH and a Provider Data Analyst at UnitedHealth Group, bringing a strong analytical background and a deep commitment to community impact.

Driven by a passion for service, Harriet is dedicated to extending compassion, support, and meaningful resources to individuals in need. Her mission is deeply rooted in her personal life experiences, from childhood through her teenage years, where limited access to mentorship and basic necessities shaped her understanding of the challenges many individuals face. These experiences have given her a powerful perspective: while individuals have the capacity to make positive choices, the absence of guidance and unmet needs can significantly influence life paths in ways that are often misunderstood. In addition to her professional and community work, music serves as another meaningful avenue of service for Harriet. Deeply rooted in her faith, she draws inspiration from her religious beliefs to receive and share songs that uplift, encourage, and connect with others on a spiritual level. Harriet believes that just as these songs have encouraged and healed her, they will do the same for those facing brokenness or hardship.

Through BCH, Harriet is committed to creating pathways for mentorship, empowerment, and holistic support, ensuring that others have access to the guidance and opportunities she once lacked. Her goal is to inspire hope, restore dignity, and empower individuals and families to realize their full potential.
